I presently share directing responsibilities at the Farthest North Bridge Club in Fairbanks, Alaska, with Shirley Liss. I was Fairbanks's primary director from the time I was certified as a director by ACBL in December 1995 until the end of October 2005 when I moved to Juneau. While in Juneau I directed club games when the regular director was out of town, and was the non-playing director for Unit 427's two-session Grand National Teams event in January 2006.
On the internet, I was a tournament director for Swan Games Company from 2001 to 2003 (and again in the winter of 2006-07) and am now chairman of the Appeals Committee and the Systems and Conventions Committee at Swan.
I have also been certified as an Easybridge! presenter (July 1999) and taken a training course for directing on cruise ships (June 2002.)
